Gutter cleaning
Every run cleared by hand and bagged, roof-edge debris removed, downspouts flushed.
Gutter cleaning in Renaissance Commons means working one of Boynton Beach's newer mixed-use developments along the Congress Avenue corridor, where condos and townhomes sit above retail and restaurant space on flatter, lower-slope rooflines than the golf-course estates elsewhere in the city.

Flatter rooflines here drain differently than a pitched roof over a single-family home, so standing water and slow-draining sections matter more than leaf litter, which is lighter here than almost anywhere else in Boynton Beach.

Blocked outlets and elbows cleared, pipes and buried lines flushed.
Guards and screens cleaned and the trough underneath cleared.
Dark streaks and oxidation washed off the gutter face.
A low-pressure soft wash for shingle, tile, flat, and metal roofs.

Renaissance Commons sits along the Congress Avenue corridor, the same stretch of the city that is also home to the Boynton Beach Mall and Boynton Town Center, and the development's condos and townhomes were built well after most of Boynton Beach's golf-course and retirement communities. That newer construction means less tree canopy overall, but it also means flatter, lower-slope roof sections that behave differently in a storm than a steep-pitched roof over a single-family home.
A flat or low-slope roof does not shed water the way a pitched roof does, so a gutter or drain that is running slow matters more here than a trough packed with leaves. Standing water after a storm is the warning sign we look for first in a development like this, ahead of the leaf litter we would expect to find in an older, more heavily wooded neighborhood.
Multi-unit buildings here are usually managed by an HOA or condo association, and we coordinate scheduling through the association's office when a job covers shared roof sections rather than a single unit, sending our license and insurance documentation ahead of time so there is no delay.
The cleaning itself runs through our usual steps: clear the roof edge, scoop every run by hand, bag the debris, and flush every downspout until the water runs clear, with extra attention to any section that looked like it was draining slowly before we started. We photograph every job so a board or an individual owner has a record of what we found.

A real before-and-after from a gutter cleaning job, not a stock photo.
